Regulatory Information

EU Chemical Standards (REACH Regulation EC 1907/2006)

Any plastic product imported into or sold within the EU must comply with REACH:

Banned Plasticizers & Phthalates: Cheap non-EU imported plastics often use banned plasticizers (e.g., DEHP, DBP) to keep brittle plastic flexible.
Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs): Common in cheap, black, sulfur-cured recycled plastics. EU REACH Annex XVII restricts PAHs in consumer goods where the skin comes into repeated contact with the item.
